About Me
I have received an extensive Musical Education and started learning violin at the age of seven.
Between the ages of Ten and Thirteen, I was a full time chorister in Winchester Cathedral under the Choirmaster David Hill.
During Secondary School and College, I played in School Orchestras, Chamber Groups (playing Violin and Viola), The Brighton Youth Orchestra and West Sussex String Ensemble. I also gave several Solo and Duet performances.
At the age of seventeen I attained Grade 8 (ABRSM) on the Violin.
During University years I started to study Folk Violin, Gypsy Jazz, Improvisation and Orchestration and have continued with this since, alongside Classical playing.
Recently I have performed at parties, exhibition openings, as a session Violinist for both live work and Recording sessions, and at gigs with my bands.
At present I play in a Blues Rock band, in a Country and Bluegrass function band and will be performing occasional solo performances around Sussex
I also continue to provide session work and work with other musicians for live performances.
